Maxol to build huge local service station

MAXOL has announced plans to build its largest service station in Ireland on a site in Dublin 15.

The petrol giants will develope the station on the N3 at Mulhuddart and it will lead to 50 new jobs.

The futuristic service station will be on a 2.5 acre site on one of Ireland’s busiest motorways.

The development of the new flagship station represents a significant investment of over

?¬4 million by Maxol and it’s the comapny’s biggest Irish project since its foundation in 1920.

The company says it will use leading technologies including the latest environmentally friendly and energy efficient equipment in an effort to reduce its carbon footprint.

The multi-level building will also see the introduction of a number of new franchises to widen Maxol’s choice of food offerings and there’ll also be a brand new off-licence.

The station will have a Maxol Mace convenience store, a brand new Moreish

‘Fresh Food’ café and large open-plan relaxation areas with wi-fi and a children’s play zone.

The station will also boast an extremely spacious forecourt, a separate truck fuelling facility and extra car and coach parking.

“But changing consumer demands mean it is no longer only about the provision of quality fuel, it is about the full forecourt service and convenience offering.

“Maxol Mulhuddart will be a full destination site and we are in discussions with a number of potential partner franchises to further enhance this.

Maxol are looking for an independent retailer to operate the new station under licence. The new station is being developed by Weslin Construction.
