Shoppers left purring at new Tiger Stores opening

THE new Tiger Stores outlet at The Blanchardstown Centre held a special pre-opening event last week.

A number of lucky local shoppers won tickets to the exclusive preview, and were joined on the evening by some leading names from Irish media, including stylists and TV regulars Sonja Mohlich and Corina Gaffey.
Guests on the night raved about the delicious and incredibly more-ish popcorn from Cornude – their salted caramel flavour was a huge hit – while strawberries and cream courtesy of new fruit and veg delivery company, Nudiefoods, were perfectly complemented by Tiger’s own biscotti.
Sheridan’s Cheesemongers showcased a huge wheel of cheese, served with crackers from Tiger, all washed down by plenty of bubbly and San Pellegrino water.
Aided by enthusiastic and helpful staff, shoppers browsed Tiger’s own brand design-led, low-cost colourful lifestyle products, from homewares to toys, stationery, toiletries and accessories.
And they got to take home a fabulous goodie bag, topping off a busy, buzzy and totally fabulous night.
Gillian Maxwell, Operations Manager from Tiger Stores, was overwhelmed by the incredibly warm welcome from Blanchardstown shoppers and local media.
“We were absolutely blown away by the positive response from everyone to the store,
? she said.
“I met so many fans of Tiger and am ecstatic at how Irish shoppers have truly taken the brand to heart since we brought it to Ireland just four years ago.
“This positive energy, plus the help of a fantastic team and the immeasurable contribution of Cornude, Nudiefoods and Sheridan’s Cheesemongers, made this a night that will live long in Tiger legend.

The Danish brand is creating 25 new local jobs with the opening of the new store at The Blanchardstown Centre. The outlet spans 198 square metres and is located on the centre’s second floor.
Tiger Stores plan to replenish its own brand, design-led, low-cost lifestyle products twice a month so that at any given time, 30 to 40 per cent of the stock will be new.
Since arriving in Ireland four years ago, Tiger Stores has amassed a portfolio of 17 stores nationwide and has been awarded two top accolades from Retail Excellence Ireland, including Company of the Year and Best Small Company 2015 (under 100 employees).
