CYCLING enthusiasts take note: a new club has been established on the Northside.

Local man Graham Mulcahy said he decided to set up a cycling club in Howth as there was none in the area.

“Howth is proving to be a great cycling destination with lots of cyclists visiting every day especially on the weekends,

? he said.

“I feel we can do lots to promote health, fitness and create a great community of cyclists in Howth.

“We had our first get together on July 7 and we had 11 people turn up of all standards even with the weather not so favourable.

Mr Mulcahy added:

“I am hoping this is the start of something great and we will build into a great club for people of all ages and standards.

Howth Cycling Club would like to thank Ronan Murphy at Toned Fit for allowing members of the newly formed cycling club to use the business’s premises as a meeting place.
