‘Geek’ podcaster celebrates milestones

RATHFARNHAM podcaster Ruari Williamson has plenty to celebrate these days.

The 19-year-old Rathmines journalism student started his entertainment podcast in June 2013.

Two years later, he has over 100 interviews with actors from

‘Star Wars’,

‘Harry Potter’,

‘Dr Who’,

‘The Walking Dead’ and other films and TV shows under his belt.

Not only is his

‘Everything Geek’ podcast celebrating its second anniversary, but its related Facebook page has now reached an impressive 10,000 likes.

Describing the podcast as

“by geeks, for geeks

?, Ruari interviews actors and behind-the-scenes crew for the podcast every Saturday evening. His regular co-hosts include two friends from his primary school days, Graham Kavanagh and Máirín Byrne, as well as half a dozen others who live in other parts of the globe.
