Great gig for little Robyn

AN AMAZING line-up of Irish talent is taking to the stage at Whelan’s in Wexford Street on Wednesday (May 27) to help raise funds for Robyn Smyth.

The 10-year-old from Whitehall suffers neuroblastoma – a rare and aggressive form of cancer that can spread to the nervous system – and funds for potentially life saving treatment are badly needed.

The fundraising campaign is gathering pace, raising hopes for th3e little girl who has captured hearts right across the Northside and beyond.

Lord Mayor of Dublin, Christy Burke, has made an urgent appeal for funds for Robyn and it’s hoped Dubliners will turn out in droves for Wednesday’s gig, which promises to be a real cracker.

Headline acts include The Riptide Movement, Paddy Casey and former Hothouse Flowers frontman, Liam O Maonla.

Also taking to the stage are Declan Greene, Eoin Glackin, Laura Elizabeth Hughes, Kicking Bird and The Line-Up Gospel Choir.

Northside comedian, Willa White, will be MC on the night and organisers are hoping one or two very special surprise acts will turn up.

Doors open at 8pm and tickets for the gig can be pre-booked online for

?¬15 at whelanslive.com. Tickets are also available at the door for
