Council’s playspace plans for Rathfarnham are welcomed

SINN Féin Cllr Sarah Holland has given her full support to council plans for playspaces throughout the county.

Cllr Holland said these playspaces were creative and innovative updates on the traditional playground, and will blend in with their surroundings.

A total of 60 are planned with work taking place up until 2018.

“The locations have been given careful consideration and will benefit the areas chosen immensely,

? Cllr Holland said.

“When funds are made available for a socially beneficial project like this, it should be welcomed with open arms.

“I will be carrying out surveys around Rathfarnham to gauge public opinion

“We are so lucky here to have some lovely open green spaces,

? she added.

“We should be making the most of them.
