THE Lions Club have launched a major national Bullying Information Campaign.

As part of the campaign, it has released a special leaflet to provide advice for parents on how to identify bullying problems and how best to resolve this issue.

The leaflet also addresses the issue of cyberbullying, which is on the rise year-on-year as social networking becomes increasingly popular.

The leaflet will be dropped to all houses in the country where children of school-going age live.

Dublin Bay North TD Terence Flanagan, who is supporting the campaign, said it will undoubtedly help to bring attention to the bullying issue.

“I encourage all my constituents to read the leaflet when it is posted to their home and to talk to your children about this most important issue,

? he said.

“It is only by speaking about bullying that we can begin to stamp out the problem.
