Cecelia begins new chapter at Temple Street Hospital

CECELIA Ahern has been announced as an official ambassador for Temple Street Children’s University Hospital.

The Malahide author, who has sold over 22 million copies of her books worldwide, will try to balance her successful career with her new role.

The announcement came shortly after the hospital’s public appeal for

?¬5 million to build a new Neurology and Renal Outpatients’ Department.

For years Temple Street has delivered world-class care in less than ideal conditions, and many of the facilities are struggling to cope.

Paediatric neurology and renal treatment are two of the hospital’s major specialties, and therefore the expert care in these units is a lifeline for children in Ireland.
