GAA girls sign up for campaign

THE Dublin Ladies’ Gaelic Football Association (LGFA) has joined forces with Breast Cancer Ireland (BCI) to help raise awareness of the latter’s latest charity campaign.

Speaking at the launch of
‘Lace Up For A Cure’ in Parnell Park, Joe Keane, Dublin LGFA chairperson, said they were delighted to partner with BCI for the campaign.
“As one of the largest female sporting organisations in Dublin and indeed Ireland we are only too happy to support the work of BCI,
? said Mr Keane.
“Dublin LGFA is looking forward to working with BCI to highlight awareness of breast cancer but also to raise much needed funds to enable the charity to continue with their vital services.

Aisling Hurley, Director at Breast Cancer Ireland, said: “We are delighted to partner with the Dublin Ladies’ Gaelic Football Association and we hope by our association more and more women, young and old, will become breast aware.
