TEENAGE singing sensation Kayleigh Noble did Finglas proud when she finished as a runner up in this year’s Le Crunch Apple of My Eye song contest.
The 13-year-old local girl was one of five finalists who were judged by Royseven’s Paul Walsh, Roisin O and Le Crunch’s Claire Colman at The Sugar Club on March 7.
Kayleigh and her fellow finalists performed live on stage in front of a panel of judges and an estimated 150,000 Today FM KC Show listeners.
“Once again we were all pleasantly surprised by the amazing quality of the entries into this year’s Apple of My Eye song contest,
? said Claire Colman.
“It was a very difficult task to pick a winner from the five finalists, as they all played their hearts out and gave it their best.

“Bands talk about their tricky second album but as sequels go this [the competition] was a huge success.
“The quality of entries made for some very difficult decisions. I think Le Crunch are really capturing the very best of Ireland with this promotion.
