Talk show duo take on big names
Dublin People 08 Mar 2014
TWO of Dublin’s most controversial night-time talk show presenters, Adrian Kennedy and Jeremy Dixon, have moved into a new morning slot this week.

The provocative pair began broadcasting their two hour
‘Dublin Talks’ show at 10am on Monday (March 10th) on 98FM hoping to capture a new legion of daytime listeners.
The duo have made a name for themselves over the past 16 years with their hard-hitting talk show that’s often made the news as well as speaking about it.
On Dublin Talks Kennedy and Dixon will be still be talking to Dubliners about topical issues but they’ll be taking on some of the biggest names in broadcasting including Pat Kenny on Newstalk and Sean O’Rourke and Ryan Tubridy on RTE.
However, Kennedy isn’t daunted by the prospect and is looking forward to the challenge faced by Dublin Talks.
“The name itself says exactly what the show is about,
? he says.
“It’s a Dublin talk show for Dublin people. It’s going to be our night-time show during the day and very different to everything else you hear on the radio at the moment.
“In the months that we’ve been off the air, we’ve developed a very loyal following of 21,000 Facebook fans that can’t wait to see us back in business!
?
Station Manager at 98FM, Michael Brett, is also confident the new show will bring in the listeners.
“We have been looking for a daytime show that will really get to the heart of what the city’s talking about and Adrian and Jeremy are the perfect hosts for this,
? he said.
“They are a fantastic addition to our on-air line-up which also includes Ray Foley and Dermot & Dave.
