A SERIES of short films about famous Dublin streets made by director Eamonn Norris and architect Stephen Wall is attracting plenty of positive attention on YouTube.

The
‘Epic Dublin’ series consists of short, three-minute videos that aim to entertain viewers by highlighting the historical, cultural and architectural points of interest around the great city.
Episodes of
‘Epic Dublin’ have focused on Henrietta Street, Merrion Square and O’Connell Street and its creators are delighted with the response so far.
“We were not initially sure how the videos would be received but we’ve been greatly encouraged by all the positive feedback so far,
? said Norris.
“The first few videos have several thousand views between them. As long as people are interested in watching, we’ll continue to make them.
?
The latest video in the series – featuring the iconic but sometimes overlooked, Parnell Square – was published on YouTube earlier this month.
“It was a very positive experience filming around Parnell Square as the weather was pleasant and there were a lot of tourists around, especially up at the Garden of Remembrance,
? Norris said.
Epic Dublin is aimed at anyone with an interest in Dublin city, from residents to tourists considering a visit to the capital in 2014. The videos can be found by searching for
