Sion Hill girls enjoy trip down memory lane
Dublin People 11 Jan 2014
Over 300 past pupils of Dominican College Sion Hill gathered at a very special alumni event to catch up with old friends and take a nostalgic trip down memory lane recently.
Guests enjoyed a tour of St Thomas’ building, received an update on school activities and heard about the vision for the school in the years ahead.
Attendees arrived at Sion Hill and enjoyed mulled wine, canapés, and light refreshments while entertainment was provided by current students.
Over 400 students now attend Sion Hill and the school recently opened a new fully serviced canteen called
‘Red Stairs Café’ which can sit up to 200 in any one sitting.
The new canteen is part of an on-going refurbishment and development plan for the school.
To cater for the growing population of the school, plans are in place to relocate the library, develop new classrooms and create a much needed all-weather multi-sports facility.
This new facility will also be available to rent by local clubs and the wider community.
