The new Blanchardstown Primary Care Centre opened last week

THE HSE has announced the opening of the new Blanchardstown Primary Care Centre at Grove Court Complex beside Fingal County Council’s offices.

The centre will deliver health and social care services to the local community in Dublin 15 and surrounding areas.

A broad range of services were moved into the new facility last week and the building now accommodates a full range of social care services, including public health nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, psychology, social work, clinical nutrition and a community mental health team.

Over the coming weeks two local GP practices will also be moving their surgeries into the new centre.

Donal Cassidy, Primary Care Development Manager with HSE Dublin North City, said the new centre will be a great asset to everybody living in Dublin 15 and the wider North West Dublin Area.

“It is a modern, spacious purpose built primary care centre which will provide a broad range of health services to the community,

? he said.

“This bright and inviting Primary Care Centre is already providing a warm and welcoming environment for both staff and clients.

The Blanchardstown Primary Care Centre is the first purpose designed structure for primary care in the area and the HSE say it’s an example of the high standards envisaged in future developments of local primary care services including those due to be built in Corduff, Finglas, Grangegorman and Ashtown.
