Mystery surrounds colourful ‘artworks’

ONE of our eagle-eyed Facebook friends spotted these interesting images popping up around Artane and Beaumont in recent weeks and wondered what they are all about.

Our Facebook follower passed on these pictures to us and explained how they caught his attention.

“They just seem to be popping up on traffic boxes you see along Skelly’s Lane and Beaumont Road,

? he said.

“They’re quite colourful, as you can see, and creative so I thought they might have been part of an advertising campaign.

“But now I’m not so sure. The slogans are written in Dublinese and my guess is that is a particularly imaginative graffiti artist who is putting a bit of effort into his work!
