Northside mum wins carer award

A NORTHSIDE woman has been named as Irish HomeCare

‘Carer of the Month’ for August 2013.

Professional carer Louise Leonard, from Darndale, received the accolade for her dedication and passion for providing the best possible quality support to those in her care.

Sally Murtagh, founder and managing director of Irish HomeCare, said:

“Louise is most deserving of this award. She is 100 per cent committed to those in her care and makes a real and positive difference to their lives.

Ms Murtagh said carers were rarely recognised for the vital work they do on a daily basis.

Louise received a one-4-all gift voucher from Irish HomeCare in recognition of a job very well done.
