AIR passengers are on the fast-track for foreign currency with the introduction of Ireland’s first

‘Click & Collect’ foreign exchange service at Dublin Airport.

Holidaymakers can now reserve their travel money online for collection at the airport on day of departure, making the traditional last minute dash into town for

‘holiday money’ a thing of the past.

ICE (International Currency Exchange), one of Ireland’s leading foreign currency providers since 2001, has recently rolled out this convenient new online service, which offers preferential rates and zero per cent commission.

Travellers can order their foreign currency through the

‘Click & Collect’ service by filling in an online form in advance on www.ice-ireland.ie. Payment is made on collection by presenting a printed, smart phone or tablet voucher at one of ICE’s designated

‘Click & Collect’ outlets.

The service uniquely offers a

‘free buy back’ guarantee to travellers who come home with spare currency in their pockets.

Through the ICE branch network, around 90 per cent of orders are for sterling and dollars and the company is expecting a similar trend with the new complementary

‘Click & Collect’ service. Other currencies currently available through www.ice-ireland.ie include: the Australian Dollar, the Canadian Dollar, the Danish Krone, the Japanese Yen, the Norwegian Krone, the Swedish Krone and the Swiss Franc.

The new service is available through a designated outlet in both Terminal 1 and 2 at Dublin Airport and currencies can be reserved through www.ice-ireland.ie

Lisa Madden, Country Manager Ireland, ICE, said:

“Traditionally, people flying out on holidays have had to make extra plans to order and collect their holiday money, adding to that already long to-do list.

“Our new service does away with this time consuming job, meaning holidaymakers can order their currency at a preferential rate from the comfort of their own armchair and then simply collect it the day they are leaving the country. The response has already been hugely positive to this convenient and cost-effective new service.
