LAST Monday night (August 12), the Carlton Hotel Blanchardstown hosted a fantastic evening with the 32 International Roses and an excited crowd of over 200 invited guests.

The evening was filled with drama from the personalised floral arrangements with gold fish from local floral company Magic Moments to the amazing Carlton Rose Dress worn by model Ciara Ryan made completely from Rose petals by the very talented Davis Lamb and Vaneta Tirumu.

Over a champagne drinks reception, the 200 strong crowds mixed and mingled with the Roses as they enjoyed entertainment from magicians and fire breathers which all added to the fun festival atmosphere.

Also in attendance and causing quite a stir were the Carlton Hotels Group’s Charity of the Year, Dogs Trust, who brought along some furry friends who seemed rather fond of Dáithí Ã? Sé.

Carlton Hotel Group has developed a novel way of assisting Dogs Trust to find homes for stray and abandoned puppies and dogs.

Carlton Hotels have developed a Facebook app with photographs and descriptions of the 32 selected Dogs who are named after each of the 32 Roses.

With 12 Rose dogs already rehomed the campaign has a fantastic response. So, if you would like to assist in rehoming your favorite Rose’s Dog, just log on to www.facebook.com/ CarltonHotelGroup and you can enquire directly about adopting or simply share with your friends/family.

Mark Beazley, executive director of Dogs Trust, said:

“We are delighted with the success of the Carlton App. It is helping us reach more people in order to find loving homes for the fantastic puppies and dogs in our care, waiting for a home.

“We are very grateful to all the team at the Carlton Hotel Group.

The evening continued with an excellent meal followed by live performance and dancing until late.
