Garden designer set to Bloom at festival

A NORTHSIDE garden designer and horticulturalist is looking forward to having his unique garden featured at the Bloom Garden Festival this weekend.

Kevin Dennis, from Raheny, has teamed up with fellow landscape designer, Michael Carroll, from Monaghan, to showcase a garden at the event, which takes place in the Phoenix Park over the June bank holiday weekend.

Kevin said the aim of their entry was to create a contemporary suburban garden for relaxation and entertainment.

“The

‘Riverside Clam’ theme takes the elements of a riverside and combines them in a contemporary fashion,

? he explained.

Kevin said he is very excited about the event, and is looking forward to meeting the thousands of visitors expected to pass through between May 30 and June 3.

The Bloom Garden Festival is Ireland’s largest gardening, food and family event.
