HAPPY BIRTHDAY: Kituba will be the star attraction at the birthday celebrations this week

DUBLIN Zoo will
be hosting a special birthday celebration this weekend for one of Ireland’s
most famous babies – Kituba, the baby gorilla born this time last year.

On Saturday
March 31 and Sunday April 1, the Gorilla Rainforest in the zoo will be
transformed into a party zone for Kituba’s big birthday bash.

Visitors will
be kept entertained by stilt walkers, jugglers, magic shows, mad scientists,
banana-bots, music, face painters and a host of fun-filled family activities.

Zoo Team Leader
Ciaran McMahon and the animal care crew will be on hand throughout the day to
deliver talks and to answer questions on Dublin Zoo’s thriving troop of
Westland Lowland Gorillas.

The birthday
celebrations are being sponsored by Freddy Fyffes. More details are available
at www.dublinzoo.ie and facebook.com/ dublinzoo.
