THE
Billie Barry Stage School presents

‘The Time Of Our Lives’ at the Gaiety
Theatre, from November 1-5 in what promises to be a spectacular action packed
variety entertainment show for all the family.
The
evening will feature all 800 of the school’s current students from four to
24-years-of-age who will combine their talents for this very special
production.
The
show, which is produced, directed and choreographed by Lorraine Barry with
Peter Beckett as musical director, promises to delight audiences with scenes
from
‘Glee’,
‘The Addams Family’,
‘Nine’,
‘The Wizard of Oz’,
‘Shout’, the
music of
‘Black Eyed Peas’,
‘Bruno Mars
? and lots more.
The
special guests will be the hilarious June Rodgers in her latest comedic guises
and singer Michael Joseph.
All
800 students of the school are currently in rehearsals and a behind the scenes
team is working on the sets, lighting, sound, props and the hundreds of
costumes necessary to ensure the success of such a lavish production.
The
who’s who of Dublin has attended the Billie Barry Stage School, which was
founded in 1964.
The
school had a mere 36 students on its first day and it now boasts 800.
Famous
Billie Barry Stage School graduates from the worlds of music, screen and stage
include Jacinta Whyte, Angeline Ball, Brian McFadden, Samantha Mumba, Susan
McFadden, Louise Bowden, Brenda Donoghoe, Fair City’s Hilda Faye and Jim
Bartley.
