SOUTHSIDE
students Aisling O’Flanaghan, Aoife Cantwell and Belen Aznar will be able to
look back with pride next year when their multi-million euro brand new school
opens its doors for pupils.

The
girls were invited along to help out with the official turning of the sod
ceremony for the new Rosemont School, which is now based in Sandyford and will
be Sandyford’s first ever girls’ secondary school.
Also
there were local councillor Neale Richmond (FG), members of the school’s board
and Rosemont Educational Foundation Limited.
The
project, which has an estimated cost of
?¬17 million, is being lead by
construction group SISK and student enrolments for the school are now being
taken.
And if
all goes to plan, they’ll be taking their first lessons on September 2011.
