Vyta and Evad donate laptops to Ifrah Foundation

IT asset disposition (ITAD) and IT asset lifecycle management (ITALM) firm Vyta has partnered with leading Irish technology solutions provider, Evad Technology Group, to refurbish and donate laptops alongside 12 months of IT support to the Ifrah Foundation, helping strengthen the organisation’s operations and long-term impact.
The Ifrah Foundation is an international survivor-led organisation working to end female genital mutilation (FGM) through advocacy, education, community engagement, and policy reform.
Founded by internationally recognised activist Ifrah Ahmed, the organisation works across Ireland and Somalia to support survivors and drive lasting social change.
The partnership highlights how sustainable IT asset management, IT refurbishment, and circular economy initiatives can create meaningful social impact by extending the lifecycle of technology and supporting charities with essential digital resources.
Zena Ni Dhuinn Bhig from the Ifrah foundation said: “These laptops and ongoing IT support will make a real difference to our organisation.
“Improved technology helps strengthen our day-to-day operations, communication, reporting processes, and programme delivery, allowing us to focus more of our resources on advocacy and supporting survivor-led change.
“For small charities, practical support like this can have a disproportionate impact and helps create the conditions needed for long-term change.”
Alex McKinlay, Junior Marketing Executive at Vyta, said: “We are proud to support the Ifrah Foundation and the important work they do to advocate for survivors and to help end FGM.
“At Vyta, we work with organisations to ensure their IT equipment can remain within the circular economy, extending the lifespan of technology while creating meaningful social impact.
“This partnership demonstrates how refurbished technology can provide practical support to organisations making a real difference in communities both locally and globally.
“We encourage businesses to consider donating redundant IT equipment so it can be securely refurbished, repurposed, and used to support charities and non-profits doing critical work.”

Les Dunne, Sales Director at Evad Technology Group, added: “We are proud to support the Ifrah Foundation alongside Vyta in delivering a solution that goes beyond simply donating equipment.
“By ensuring each device is fully prepared, secure, and backed by ongoing support, we can help the organisation operate more effectively from day one.
“This initiative reflects the real impact that strong partnerships and practical technology support can have in empowering organisations doing critical work in their communities.”
