9 arrests in South Dublin in money laundering crackdown

DMR East Division conducted a Day of Action targeting money laundering on Thursday, March 26th.

The DMR East Divisional Economic Crime Unit, assisted by the Serious Crime Unit arrested nine adults in total during the course of the operation.

Gardaí arrested three adult females (two aged in their 20s, one in their 30s) and two adult males (aged in their 30s, 50s) who have since been released. Files will be prepared for the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.

In addition, Gardaí arrested three adult males (aged in their late teens, 20s, and 30s) and one adult female (aged in her late teens) who have since been charged and released on bail.

They are due to appear before Dún Laoghaire District Court on Monday 13th April.
