Tuath Housing Association has announced that applications are now open for 74 new-build cost rental homes within the much-sought after development, Kilcarbery Grange, Clondalkin.

These long-term secure homes will be available at 40% below the average local area rent.

The monthly rent for these modern A-rated, energy efficient homes at Kilcarbery Grange will be €1,295 p/m for a 1-bedroom apartment, and €1,450 p/m for a 2-bedroom apartment.

Supported by the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage and the Housing Finance Agency (HFA), these homes provide a long-term, affordable rental option for families and individuals.

Cost rental homes are designed to offer rents based on the actual cost of building, managing, and maintaining the properties, rather than market rates.

This approach ensures long-term affordability and security of tenure, allowing families to establish roots and thrive in a supportive community.

Tuath Housing have already delivered 74 Cost Rental apartments in the same development in 2022.

Speaking on this latest development, Tuath Housing CEO, Sean O’Connor, stated: “These new Cost Rental homes reaffirm our commitment to providing affordable, high-quality housing options in Dublin and across Ireland.

“Kilcarbery Grange will offer individuals and families modern, sustainable living spaces while also fostering a vibrant community environment, for a lot less than the average rent for the area.

We look forward to welcoming new residents and supporting them as they build their lives in Clondalkin.”

Applications for these new homes are now open. Interested parties can apply through the Tuath Housing website at: https://tuathhousing.ie/cost-rental/.
