€50,400 drugs seized and man arrested, Dublin 18

Gardaí attached to the DMR East Divisional Drugs unit, with assistance from a number of additional units, yesterday seized over €50,000 in combined drugs following searches in Dublin 18.

Following the search of a premises, cannabis, cocaine and ecstasy tablets with a combined value of €50,400 were seized.

A large amount of drug paraphernalia, mobile phones and a sum of cash was also located by Gardaí.

The drugs seized will now undergo further analysis.

A man in his 30s has been arrested by Gardaí and is currently at a Garda Station in Dublin under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking Act) 1996.
