ALDI announce extended opening hours for Christmas Week

In the run-up to Christmas, ALDI is extending its opening hours, opening from 8am to 11pm during Christmas week to give shoppers more time to pick up last-minute food, drink, and gifts before the big day.

Stores will also be open until 7pm on Christmas Eve, but customers should check local store details online to avoid disappointment.

ALDI will close its stores as usual on Christmas Day and will once again keep all stores shut on St Stephen’s Day as a thank you to colleagues.

The majority of stores will be open from 9am until 9pm in between Christmas and New Year, and until 7pm on New Year’s Eve to help shoppers get everything they need to ring in the new year.

“We are extending our opening hours during Christmas week to make sure more shoppers can avail of our fantastic, award-winning range of food and drink offerings and conveniently pick up everything they need for a festive Christmas.

“We also would like to recognise and thank our amazing colleagues who go above and beyond to serve their local communities every day at ALDI.

“Therefore, we will once again be maintaining our tradition of keeping our stores closed on St Stephen’s Day.”
