An Post and Adam’s Hug go global for St Patrick’s Day

An Post and everybody’s favourite schoolboy and space ace Adam King have joined forces to send messages of love, friendship and greetings around the world for St. Patrick’s Day.

The campaign combines the heart melting ‘Adams Virtual Hug’ with Ireland’s traditional Céad Míle Fáilte greeting and Adam came along to the GPO this week to get the global effort underway.

From today some 2.5m Adam’s Virtual Hug postcards, carrying either the message ‘Barróg Duitse’ or ‘A Hug for You’, will be available for sending at your local post office.

Just pop on a stamp and send love and greeting to friends and family anywhere across the globe.

For every hug sent An Post will donate a portion of each stamp to Temple Street Hospital (Children’s Health Foundation) and Cork University Hospital Charity helping children on their journey.
