Man struck by Luas at Suir Road

A man is in a serious condition in hospital after being struck by a Luas.

The incident occurred at Suir Road yesterday evening according to gardai.

The man was taken to St James’s Hospital with serious injuries.

Red Line services running between Blackhorse and The Point were suspended earlier this morning  but Luas now say services are back operating with significant delays.

Garda enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
