Renewed appeal, assault incident, Fairview Strand, June 7

Gardaí are renewing their appeal for information in relation to an assault incident which occurred at Fairview Strand, Dublin 3, on 07/06/2021 at approximately 11.10pm.

A man, aged in his 60s, was assaulted by a group of males and remains in a critical condition in the Mater Hospital.

A spokesperson said:

“Gardaí are particularly appealing to anyone travelling through the area around the time of the incident who may have dash–cam or camera footage to come forward.

“Anyone with information can contact Raheny Garda Station on 01 666 4300, Clontarf at 01 666 4800 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.

“To date three men, all aged in their 20s, have been arrested and questioned at Raheny Garda Station.

“They have all been released without charge with files to be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.”

Investigations are ongoing.
