Gardaí appealing for witnesses after body was found at Ormond Quay

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anybody who may have information following the discovery of a body of a man in the Boardwalk area of Ormond Quay earlier this month.

In a statement, a Garda spokesperson said that they are “investigating all the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a body of a man, aged in his 30s, in the Boardwalk area of Ormond Quay Lower, Dublin 1, on 04/06/2021 at approximately 6.20am.

“A post mortem has since been carried out the results of which are not being made available for operational reasons.

“Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

“Garda are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who was in the Ormond Quay and surrounding areas between 6pm on 03/06/2021 – 6.20am 04/06/2021.
