Pubs reopen in city centre

There was a celebratory mood around town yesterday afternoon to herald the reopening of many of the city’s pubs.

Some of them were re-opening after being closed for 15 months following the longest lockdown in Europe.

This represents the latest phase in the planned reopening of our society and economy over the summer.
