Gardaí arrest another person in connection with Howth station incident

Gardaí have arrested another person in connection with the incident that occurred at Howth Junction Dart station on April 1.

According to the Gardaí, the youth was detained at Raheny Garda Station and has been released pending a file to the Director of Public Prosecutions.

A video of the incident circulated widely on social media and showed a group of young people intimidating members of the public trying to board a train at the station.

In the clip, one of the teenagers pushes his bicycle in the direction of a girl who then stumbled and fell off the platform and onto the train tracks below.

The group of youths then flea the scene.
