Water disturbance to south Dublin residents tomorrow, says Irish Water

South Dublin residents in areas such as Rathmichael, Kilbogget, Shankill, Shanganagh, Cabinteely, Kill Lane, Cornelscourt and environs may experience a disturbance to their water supply tomorrow, Irish Water has announced.

Works are taking place to reconfigure the network to maintain normal supply to as many customers as possible.

Irish Water said treated drinking water reservoirs will be filled to their maximum in advance of the works starting.

Irish Water is appealing to people in the areas to conserve water as their drinking water supply is dependent on reservoir storage for the duration of the works.

Works are scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 21 April between 8am and 6pm. Water disturbances may continue into the early hours of Thursday, 22 April.
