One arrested in cannabis and cash seizure in Clondalkin

As part of an ongoing investigation targeting serious and organised crime, personnel attached to the Garda National Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB), intercepted and searched a vehicle in the Clondalkin area of West Dublin on Tuesday (October 20).

In the course of the operation 40 kilogrammes of cannabis (pending analysis) with an estimated street value of €800,000 was seized along with approximately €80,000 in cash.

One male (47) has been arrested and is currently detained pursuant to the provisions of section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at Clondalkin Garda Station.
