€3.4million Benzodiazepine tablets seized

As part of an ongoing investigation targeting the sale and supply of drugs, Gardaí carried out a number of searches of business premises in the Dublin Metropolitan Region last Wednesday (28th). 
During the course of these searches, Benzodiazepine tablets with an estimated value of €3.4million were seized, subject to analysis.
The searches were conducted by members attached to Tallaght District Drugs Unit.
A Garda spokesperson said “no arrests have been made at this time”.
The drugs have been sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.
