Jury deliberations to resume today

The jury in the theft trial of former Bank of Ireland Private Bank managing director Brendan Mullin will resume its deliberations on Tuesday.

The jury in the Dublin Circuit Criminal Court trial had been deliberating for a total of about five and a half hours when they were sent home yesterday afternoon.

They will resume deliberations today.

Mr Mullin (61) of Stillorgan Road, Donnybrook, Dublin 4, is accused of stealing over €570,000 from Bank of Ireland Private Bank, among other charges, between 2011 and 2013 when he was managing director.

He denies all the charges against him.

The trial continues.
