Man 30’s arrested after €3 million cocaine bust

A man is being questioned by Gardai following the seizure that was made at a house in Clondalkin.

The operation, conducted by Gardaí attached to the Serious Crime South unit in Clondalkin and Ballyfermot resulted in an arrest of a man in his 30’s and the seizure of cocaine, with an estimate value of €3 million

The cocaine found has been sent to the Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.

“Gardaí have seized cocaine valued at €3m and arrested a man in his 30s following a search operation at a residence in Clondalkin, Dublin on Tuesday, July 9,” Gardaí said.

“The arrested man, aged in his 30s, is currently detained at a Garda Station in the DMR under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.”

The man is being detained at a Garda station in Dublin.

Gardaí said investigations are ongoing.
