One man charged in relation to seizure of firearm in Ballyfermot

Gardaí have charged one man and released another without charge in relation to the seizure of a loaded semi-automatic pistol and a small amount of cocaine in a search operation in Ballyfermot on Saturday, December 17.

“One man (30s) has been charged in relation to the seizure and is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice,” a Garda spokesperson has said.

“The second man (30s) has been released without charge and a file will now be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.”
