All you need to do is wear your own swing dress or swimsuit and some red lipstick to complete the look!
You will also receive a personalised Eventmaster fundraising page, that you can share with friends, family and colleagues to sponsor your paddle.
The event promises to be the largest gathering of Marilyn lookalikes Ireland has ever seen.
Whether you choose to dip your toes in the sea or simply enjoy the event on the beach, Marilyn’s Mater Paddle promises to be a memorable celebration of glamour and fun. Will you ‘boop boop be do’ it for women’s cancer care?
After the paddle and ‘Marilyn Mixer’ post-paddle gathering, stay and enjoy everything Bray has to offer, from the funfair to the holiday atmosphere.
The funds raised from Marilyn’s Mater Paddle will go to support women’s cancer care in the Mater Public Hospital.
Our supporters’ generosity has previously helped fund vital projects such as a new mammogram, state-of-the-art PET/CT scanner and new chemotherapy chairs for our Oncology Day Unit.
Funds raised at this this new event will ensure that the Mater Hospital Foundation can continue to put funds to work in the hospital where they are needed most to support women on their cancer journey.
Speaking about Marilyn’s Mater Paddle, Mary Moorhead, Chief Executive of the Mater Hospital Foundation says, “The Marilyn’s Mater Paddle not only promises a unique day of glamour and glitz but will also make a real difference to the lives of women who come to the Mater Hospital for cancer treatment.
“The funds raised will enable us to continue to be there for women diagnosed with cancer, offering hope and support to our patients during their most challenging time.”
