- Excellent pay and working conditions
- Flexible work arrangements and excellent work life balance
Commenting on the recruitment drive, Margaret Cox, Director of ICE Group, said; “There are excellent career opportunities for Irish nurses in New South Wales. Australia’s state-funded healthcare service is very similar to the HSE which makes it easy for Irish nurses to adapt quickly.
“There’s also a big community of Irish nurses in New South Wales so getting used to the new lifestyle takes very little adjustment.
“New South Wales hospitals have generous staffing levels and nurses there enjoy some of the best pay and employment conditions in Australia.
“The package also includes visa sponsorship for one to four years or longer.”
Nursing professionals looking for a fulfilling career that offers unique challenges and opportunities, may want to consider working in rural New South Wales, where experienced nurses and midwives are in high demand.
The Murrumbidgee and Southern NSW Local Health Districts cover a vast area of rural NSW, including towns like Wagga Wagga, Albury, Griffith, and Tumut.
By working in these areas, nurses have the chance to work with diverse populations with a range of health needs.
