Opening date for long awaited new Penneys Tallaght store is revealed

The wait for Penneys’ fans in Tallaght and surrounding areas is almost over: Penneys will officially open the doors of its much-anticipated brand-new store in The Square Shopping Centre on Thursday, September 15 at 9:30am.

Located on the ground floor of The Square, Penneys’ say the new store will offer 43,400 sq. ft of fantastic retail and beauty space, packed with their full ranges of fashion, homeware and beauty, including a Nails @ Penneys salon.

The Tallaght store marks the retailer’s continued expansion in Ireland and will be Penneys’ 37th store the country.

This is the first new Penneys store in Dublin in six years, following its opening in Liffey Valley Shopping Centre in December 2016.

The new store is part of the retailer’s commitment to invest €250 million in Ireland over the next 10 years.

Penneys Tallaght will become one of The Square Shopping Centre’s largest fashion stores where customers can find the latest affordable autumn fashion trends, as well as Penneys’ famous great value essentials across women’s, men’s, kids’ and homeware, as well as beauty and accessories.

Also in store will be its hugely popular licensed ranges including Disney, Netflix’s smash hit Stranger Things and the iconic NBA brand, and a dedicated denim trend area.

Many of the clothes and products available are part of its growing Primark Cares label, which is its pledge to make more sustainable products that everyone can afford.

The in-store nail salon, operated by Nails™, is also likely to prove popular with customers, all part of Penneys aim to offer the best experience in-store for everyone who visits.
