Coldplay add two more Croke Park dates

Coldplay have announced two more extra dates at Croke Park after massive demand for two originally planned concerts at the Dublin venue.

Social media was abuzz this morning with fans sharing frustration at Ticketmaster and their queue system as tickets were quickly snapped up during fan presale.

Coldplay will now play Croke Park on August 29th, August 30th, September 1st, and September 2nd, 2024.

General sale goes on sale to the public this Friday.

An affordable ticket pricing scheme, which the band call “Infinity Tickets”, will be available at a later date.

Infinity Tickets cost the equivalent of €20 per ticket, are restricted to a maximum of two tickets per purchaser, and must be bought in pairs (which will be located next to each other).

Coldplay are renowned for their elaborate live shows, with their 2012 Mylo Xyloto tour becoming famous for giving fans wristbands that lit up and were synced to the music being played on stage.

Tickets will be available from both Coldplay’s website and from Ticketmaster, and the gigs are subject to license.

Concert-goers are in for a blockbuster summer 2024, as Taylor Swift sold out three nights at the Aviva Stadium seemingly in an instant, and now Coldplay will bring their music to nearly 250,000 fans across four nights next summer.
