Doolan criticises Bluebell park vandalism

The vandalism at Bluebell Park

Sinn Féin councillor Daithí Doolan has criticised an attack on Bluebell Park in the early hours of Monday morning.
Doolan said “the attack was an attack on the whole Bluebell community.”
A stolen car drove on to the green, tore up the grass and was later burnt out.
Fencing around the basketball courts was pulled down and had to be removed.
Doolan visited the area on Monday and spoke to local residents.
He said “those involved need to take a long hard look at themselves;t these resources were hard fought for.”
The Ballyfermot-Drimnagh councillor said he was in contact with Dublin City Council and Gardaí over the incident.
“Those involved will not win. We will work together to ensure the park and basketball courts gets repaired as soon as possible.”
