Cruinniú na nÓg South Dublin 2022 programme has something for everyone.
On Saturday June 11, children and young people will come together to celebrate Ireland’s National Day of Youth Creativity.
Ireland is the first, and only, country in the world to have a national day of free creativity for children and young people under 18.
Cruinniú na nÓg is a flagship initiative of the Creative Ireland Programme’s Creative Youth Plan to enable the creative potential of children and young people.
This year all events are live for children, young people, and families.

Highlights include:
ÉIN – Composer Dave Flynn cleverly transfers the magical sounds of some of Dublin’s very musical birds into new music composed for versatile members of the Irish Memory Orchestra By weaving together the wide palette of sounds available on voice, flutes, whistles, percussion and strings, Flynn and his colleagues open up new ways for children to learn about the beauty of birdsong.
ÉIN was commissioned by Cruinniú South Dublin for the Ruaille Buaille Children’s Music Festival. Performances will take place in Griffeen Park, Lucan on 11 June. Visit www.ruaillebuaille.ie for latest updates.
Language Explorers Workshops – The Language Explorers multilingual workshops focus on bringing high-quality art and creativity experiences to children aged 3 and 4 to foster language, literacy and parent-child communication.
