Woman in her eighties in serious condition after collision with bus

Gardaí are appealing to the public for information in relation to a serious road traffic collision involving a pedestrian and a bus that occurred at the entrance to Eamon Ceannt Park, Sundrive Road, Crumlin, at 4:50pm yesterday (February 24).

A female pedestrian in her eighties was taken to St James's Hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries. A technical examination of the scene has been carried out.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone who was in the area between 4.30pm and 5.10pm and  may have witnessed the incident, particularly road users who may have dashcam footage, to contact them in Crumlin on 01-6666200, Sundrive Road on 01-666 6600 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
