OVER 250 guests attended the second Dún Laoghaire Rathdown Chamber County Business Awards at Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel, Killiney last week.
Cathriona Hallahan, the MD of Microsoft Ireland, was awarded Business Leader of the County at the Black-Tie Gala Awards ceremony.
Hosted by MC Alan Shortt, the Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Josepha Madigan, was special guest at the event.
Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council are the main supporters of the DLR County Business Awards.
Cathaoirleach, Cllr Tom Murphy who officiated at the awards, said: “The council continues to be committed to supporting the development of local businesses in the county and welcomes this DLR County Business Award as an ongoing initiative in Dun Laoghaire Rathdown.”
Aileen Eglington, the President of DLR Chamber, added: “Dún Laoghaire Rathdown is a vibrant progressive county and is predicting huge growth in employment in the years ahead.
“Dun Laoghaire Chamber, as the voice of business in Dun Laoghaire Rathdown and a voluntary business organisation, is proud to continue to organise and promote these awards in our county and for that we thank all our sponsors and corporate members as well as the myriad of businesses, large and small, that entered.”
