GARDAÍ in Dún Laoghaire are investigating all the circumstances of a fatal road traffic collision this morning in which a male motorcyclist died.
The incident occurred at York Rod, Dun Laoghaire at approximately 11.45am and involved the motorcyclist, a car and a van.
The man was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital where he was pronounced dead. A post mortem is expected to take place.

The road was sealed off for forensic collision investigations and diversions were put are in place.
