The park, which has been eagerly anticipated by residents, comprises a beautifully landscaped green area, with a bespoke playground and seating facilities situated in the heart of the development.

Deputy John Lahart officiated at the opening of the park, along with Anne-Marie Drohan, Simon Chamberlayne and Michael Kissane of Winterbrook Ltd.

Residents of Dalraida were invited to come down and enjoy their new amenity with an ice-cream van and face-painters on hand to add to the occasion.

The green space will add hugely to the area, and the completion of the park has been awaited by residents who bought pre-2008.

The builder, Winterbrook Ltd, bought the vacant part of the site last year.

They have almost finished building out the remainder of the development.

Part of this includes the delivery of a green space for all the residents at Dalriada, which they have now completed and were proud to launch and hand over.

Speaking on behalf of Winterbrook Ltd, Sales & Marketing Manager, Anne-Marie Drohan said: “We are delighted to be in a position to now deliver this green park for the residents of Dalriada.

“It is a wonderful amenity for the families to use, and we know how important a space like this is to the community.”

The launch of the new Dalriada park took place just a few days ahead of the much anticipated mini-launch of Winterbrook’s newest development, Abbot’s Grove, located just off Stocking Avenue, which is a stone’s throw away from Dalriada.

This brand new development will deliver contemporary large houses designed by DDA Architects comprising three and four bedroom family homes.
