SCHOOLS and workplaces are dared to go hair crazy for CMRF Crumlin (the fundraising arm of Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin and the National Children’s Research Centre).
The inaugural Crazy Hair Day fundraising event has been launched as a fun way for participants to raise funds for the refurbishment of the Outpatients Department.
There is an urgent need to improve patient facilities and the working environment to meet the care needs of vulnerable children.
The official day is Friday, November 27 but everyone is urged to choose a date that suits their school or workplace and go as crazy as they can.
Anything goes on Crazy Hair Day from teased, coloured, gelled or twisted locals to wigs and scarves, punk or just plain messy.
Teachers and bosses are encouraged to take part too and not let the kids or employees have all the fun.
Registered schools and workplaces will receive a Crazy Hair Day Kit complete with posters, stickers and all the information required.
